cutting sharp
like a warm smile
the early twilight
the palm trees torso then
the tired mountain eased down
.
half crocked moon smiling to the hawk
open over the peaks among the winds
warm and soft, myself as well, laying
tired yet never ceasing
to expect wonders
.
.
Excellent!

I like this: “the tired mountain eased down”. I like it as a description of the sun, but more I like it as a description of the mountain. It is as though the mountain is sighing.
