California Notebooks, 2014

Standard

*
I sit at the shore
with god         that
reminds me

a whole
world of beauty
unseen

unless
you wish to walk
into it

swim and dive

forsaking
the land above
eyes open to

the shapes
below to the wonders of
childhood

comes

sinking deep
a ray of warming
sunshine

  1. …very lovely…i dare suggest you add an epigraph to the poem….it brings to mindfulness the words of jesus when he said that unless we become as children we have no part in the kingdom of heaven…enigmatic words of wisdom which your subtle poem evokes…thanx 4 a good read!…keep writing! ^^~~~~
