early mornings awakenings
one step after another
a habits that sets
me on the way
who do I meet
on my path
if not wounded
travellers
a shy roadrunner
without a claw
a shiny large crow
with a broken wing
and then there’s me
mending my dreams

I really love this! β€

I really relate to your poetry and thoroughly enjoy it. I’ve been reading your blog for a while now. I found you from my husband, Johnny Ojanpera. I never comment because your poems always have this sort of… yes, that’s definitely the way it is… feel to them. Anyway, I’ve been reading you so long that I thought I would pop in and say, Hi. π

You did well Lisa! Thank you so much for your comment. I read it upon awakening this morning, right before my morning walk (described in the poem above LOL) and it gave me such joy, just the way is written, straight forward and honest. We have been through a lot (I read your bio, thanks for sharing) but that is a good foundation for a grateful life, isn’t it? π
