when clouds came
with rare rain
painting gray hues
I wanted to follow the
top line of
the mountain range
I had a downfall
lacking some health
for a day of two
during my efforts to rise
rumble came
down the hilltops perhaps
shaking the ground
as the clouds
lowered to the earth
bowing almost a fog
as I lay there one more
dawn on my back

There is a time to be active, and there is a time to rest. Mother Nature in her loving hands balances both. Love, Anna π

Whoaa! This was powerful, and along with a beautiful flow was the sobering piece about your “downfall lacking some health for a day or two …”
