I stand dreaming
totally defenseless
whilst entering lands
as if swimming
leaving my own
as a leaf in autumn
pushed around by
gusts of wind
to eventually land
in the comfort of
earth and there
I wait for a new
me to come
to pass my head
as on a pillow I
dream of new life

You have somehow managed to make death seem pleasant; instead of making it seem like end of a life you have made it look like the beginning of another. It is amazing how you have done that. Kudos!!!

I appreciate your comment cause I wasn’t to sure about this picture, being so different from the others, but it had that ethereal, dreamy look, that complements the poem well, I thought. So thank you for your feedback Anne.

“California Dreaming” has many senses. I seem to always liked your poetic ways of dealing with the immaculate senses but never could attach the compliments, as we appear and disappear plunging into a life bustle, unplugging and forgetting. Sometimes I think even the words are not enough to me to express what can be felt.

Well, you got to do it here and I totally get it plus appreciate it! Thank your for your faithful reading of the collection on California. I do know what you mean with “we appear and disappear plunging into a life bustle, unplugging and forgetting” that was well put, LOL
