it seems some days
that the sun moves
at a faster speed
it raises for a kiss
as I get a cup of coffee
and let the cat out
I see them playing
together in the shiny
grass birds may
join too as I give
shape to new poetry
typing away
suddenly it taps
on the backyard for
a sad goodbye
as I sit speechless
.
.
.
.
I also am saddened by the daily leaving of the sun. I thrive in its presence. Oddly, I feel similarly for the moon. —CC

Sounds like you are almost as good as making time disappear as I am! 😉 Love the image of the sun “raising for a kiss.” 🌞

Ahahah Stephanie, there’s a large group of magic people very good at that trick apparently! Thank you for pointing out the image that touched you 😊

I’ve read two and you seem very much in the now, very detailed in what you write which is great because I am such a space cadet, and then it always leaves me hanging as it should, thanks.

Thank you David for your comment, so glad to read it! Poetry helps being in the now specially if conceived, or written, when moving…
