California Notebooks 2014 EN/IT featuring on IPM today (audio version too)

I had the feeling
I had been lost at sea
just for a few weeks

if weeks count as
years having no sweet
food or drink just

overcoming the waves
withstand the wind patience
unfolded under the sun

one morning – passing by
a mirror – not able to
recognize myself

.

(The audio versions can be found, at the end of the poem, here on the IPM page http://wp.me/phPCu-MX)

ho avuto la sensazione
d’esser stata naufraga persa
nel mare qualche settimana

se le settimane contano
come anni senza cibo
o acqua dolce solo

le onde da superare
sopportando il vento la pazienza
spiegata sotto il sole

una mattina – passando
davanti a uno specchio –
incapace di riconoscermi

*
the silence of love
a new blatant silence

crossing my mind
a new way of caring

not aimed at early
years finding strength

in the sweetness
of loss and lack

some shortness of breath
and time while eternity

fills longer days
deafening silence

a new era my life
more precious now

where a thousand suns now
shine into one own eyes

time leaving
traces everywhere
victims never
to be avenged

time cannot
be hold it can
be classified
never arrested

and if doing some
serious thinking
we last but the
length of a breath

time shows itself
and swiftly go

*
could it be you
breathing over me
heavily asleep
.
darkish hair on my belly
long
my breast moving slightly
not seeking disturbances
.
suddenly heavy your head
resting holding lips on me
uttering sweet
.
whispers
.
could the wind
have changed
could it be true
.
you larger than I
thought
your eyes aren’t small
finally I could look in
.
it’s a different you
on stage and modest
could it be age
