Born in a Dream

Standard

*

I wish to be home
in the desert

wide open to nothingness
waiting

for my own shadows
immobile

vulnerable to the wind
filling me

emptiness and whispers of
far away lands

born in a dream I’m gone
as I write

Pregnant Cloud, 2015

Standard

I can’t stop
my steps
if every step
charges me up

verses overflowing
I’m the pregnant cloud
ready to pour as I sit
in front of this hot sun

I’ve my own shape
definite contoured
by blue patches

Italian Summer, Ferragosto 2015

Standard

*

mid day of August’s
mid month some echoes
of a church service

on a television where
there are very few visions
a small breeze rises

awakening me to
a tiny drip drop
a small precipitation

into myself until
an airplane breaks
the clouds in two

Not Rosaries Nor Missals – Whispering, 2016

Standard

*

I like to think
of my memory
fixed as I age

having a better
recollection of
all it has been

while
never alone
to get broader eyes

looking at the now
and what’s beyond
to see the whole

picture but
all I want indeed
is to have these

beautiful ears
placed as jewels to
decorate me

to hear dogs laughing
and birds singing
to detect clearly

his love whispering
the deep silence

Not Rosaries Nor Missals – Stillness And Dances, 2016

Standard

*

I satisfy myself
in circles of light
stillness and dances

it’s the music
within that slows
us down and we

wonder and return
to these lovely
planes

a step or two
to understanding
the sound

silence broken
by golden lights
we curl up

we are being
picked up

Not Rosaries Nor Missals – Calm Waters, 2016

Standard

*

I dip into these
same calm waters
ahead of me

the mountain
and monumental
the building

where it was
all revealed
one day in my

teens the green
light of life and
the silence

as a solemn
soundtrack making all
things stilled

yet moving in life
a vibration such as
a dancing slow motion

images of bliss here
words are useless
there you need to be

Not Rosaries Nor Missals – Curling up, 2016

Standard

*

It’s the spiral
I know the never
ending

movement
of one circle
after another

it’s that coming
back to that point
from a different

point of view
the lighthouse
over the ocean

the curling
of the waves
the undercurrent

us never still
his voice breathing
out and calling

us in a golden
band a nest of
fingers crossed

we kept
each others
letters

first steps
on the coals
cheering

each other
I used to give

all I could

even dreams
were shared

and trimmed
as a dress
freshly made

she had wished she could go back to the places

where she spent the night while dreaming.

she got up to drink lots of water and opened the curtains.

later she was sitting outdoors

that morning, that’s what she considers a lucky day.

enough peace and time to sip nectar

from the books lined up for her.

she was staring at her left thumb nail.

a bit uneven as always. wondering how

and passing her middle finger back and forth on it.

lots of ideas to put down on paper.

she sniffed the air and opened a bit her mouth

while curling up the tip of the nose

to trap the scents in.

she had learned that from cats.

relaxing in the sun slightly breathing.

gardening attempt and her watering all around.

to create pitfalls. that’s it.

FOCAL POINT by Anna Mosca (EN vrs.)

Standard

Here it is!!!
For you, the English version of a short video of the conference held on May 21st 2016 in Italy on the “Focal Point” of my artistic walk. I was asked to explain to the public – in just 15 minutes – where, why and how Poetry and Photography merge in my personal search.

The conference, held in a beautiful location, the restored, historical, former King’s Waiting Room in the train station of Monza, was part of the Tenth Poetry Summit organized by Poesia Presente. I had a selection of my own photographic work showing in the background that you can view in this slide presentation.

Video starts with whispering so careful not to raise the volume too loud!
Will love to read your feed-backs and fell free to share the link. Enjoy it…

PUNTO FOCALE di Anna Mosca (ITA vrs.)

Standard

Here is a short video of a conference held a couple of weeks ago in Italy on the Focal Point of my artistic path. Where poetry and photography meet. By next week-end I will have the English version ready. Meanwhile, I’ll say, enjoy my photographic presentation.

Attendo i vostri riscontri. Buona visione e buon ascolto…

Il video comincia con un sussurro di note, non alzate il volume.
