approaching the day
with dancing
thoughts
to linger in god’s
presence
light
that stays with me
at night
and in my slumber

*
shy me lord
of what sinks me down
as I fall asleep
let peace wrap me up
my thoughts
lighten my worries
remove just
a timid smile to
welcome you
.
.
*
to soar up
above all
where stars
wait on the night
to pasture blue
clouds unkempt
where prayers
roam before
finding rest

*
it is right by the side
of the road the Cathedral
In The Pines Cemetery
as if you could just roll
off the side of the road
dead and ready to lay
where there are no fences
but some more noise to
endure or is it a reminder
when the sun hides
at sunset behind red
blood colored clouds
.

*
silence i miss
and a shaved head
a secluded
place and a bit of light
into this
confusing night
.

*
it appears as if
a candle can
initiate a prayer
shun away
darkness warming
near the ice of fear
a soft walk in
pitch darkness
afraid of vibrations
creepiness of the night
of the deep unknown
black out enforced
the bands of sleep
to fall upon my eyes
slumber on the eyelids
I never felt this way

got a tooth ache
cause a fake one
says change me soon
.
I use my hands
maybe I don’t know
how to bite anymore
.
what does it mean
I haven’t made love
in a long time
.
on the opposite
I got a pointed pain
in my elbow
.
it puzzles me
I may have hit
your bony body
.
cause it has a bruise
and a tiny red scar
a hat on the ache
.
or maybe it was
when I held you as
you fell asleep
.
my arm did but not
me I kept on listening
then found myself
.
in a prayer
