there in the space within me
I hear silence courting me
.
how can I resist it when
.
every thing inside of me longs for
this union to come to pass
.

*
there in the space within me
I hear silence courting me
.
how can I resist it when
.
every thing inside of me longs for
this union to come to pass
.
*
sounds in the background
breaks the silence
so precious it was limpid
.
.
mud foaming floating
all over senseless voices
can’t help themselves
.
*
as I contemplate
morning light peaking
through cold mornings
.
it’s the sound of the wind
running low on the streets
that gets my attention
.
getting distracted
following fast
moving
.
dried leaves
rustling through
disappearing
.
as dawn catches
up with me
behind my back
.
*
I do not ever
want to leave
this silence
.
this peace that
scared me yesterday
prelude of heaven
.
as I remember it

such lightness
silence lingers
I thrive under
silence falls on us
to help us on
telling what is you
have to be
silent to hear poetry
.
*
as the day cast its light
in different corners
of my house
I roam
my garden
seeking for different
silent spots where to bloom
.
.
*
January mornings
wake up slowly
.
in spite of long stretches
yawns and chilly air
.
everything deep in sleep
so is everyone
.
like a colorless dream
dipped in silence
.
.
*
they panic no one
around the streets
.
no one in their cars
no noise nor pollution
.
they keep the tv loud
letting anger lash out
.
or let despair cover
their trapped bodies
.
they weep the chance
they resist they curse
.

I will walk away from
the crowds and their buzz
finding an island to float serene
on way away from cravings
looks and strong odors
to my own shadow
well defined

after decades spent
in the seriousness of being
pondering judging achieving
fastening my seat belt
to the land of lightness
where islands do float
as all my thoughts
in enchanted bliss
here silently I’m

on mornings I walk
into the sun rising with each step
I type in words – they crowd around me
at dawn very few people are
around silence is bubbling

nearly no movement
a mussel in a shell

I hear love
surging

if I could
stay forever

I cannot be richer than
on summer nights
deep in silence
and beauty
open wide open
window mind soaring
above a few clouds strolling
by the moon
the language of nature
whispering to me the
dreams to come

the sound of listening
intense in the desert
morning rising to beauty
sitting in the sun
waiting for silence
to fill me from within
