Dedicated To Generation Female

Standard

lead me my heart

where I am welcomed

.

with joy and gratitude

hold me there with laughter

.

pin me with sweet thoughts

of greatness so that I may

.

shine forever not lamenting

nor lacking lead me

.

to my own

independence

.

The poem, written in August, I dedicate to all the people participating to the Generation Female Global Summit where I will be one of the speakers! I hope to see you there, tomorrow, where you can ask me questions or hear my story, it would be lovely. Please click here to enroll.

may my smile
be forever loving
as I play in life

new roles and adjust
words as a tight dress

may wind clothe me
forever changing
just that loving smile

let that one survive

when clouds came
with rare rain
painting gray hues

I wanted to follow the
top line of
the mountain range

I had a downfall
lacking some health
for a day of two

during my efforts to rise
rumble came
down the hilltops perhaps

shaking the ground
as the clouds
lowered to the earth

bowing almost a fog
as I lay there one more
dawn on my back

my favorite occupation
has been that of
listening to silence

to give shapes
to music singing
with my hands

on top of the colors
that lay already there
to tiptoe in-love

slowing down
my responses
to evade darkness

into the beauty held
inside as the harmony
viable all around

if you could just
reach me back there

a child too wise
would we have played

.

I can’t see ahead
just the grass in front of

me to ruminate on
thankful notes

what I miss
is the time moving
slowly creating a still
silence inside

watching the clouds
surf slowly and the grass
grow tall when the rain
is done

walking uphill
seeing the sea from
afar holding its smell
on my skin

my time immersed
in beauty my time
my days my habits
I hold nothing

could poetry be

a way to dig down

and out to listen

 .

to silence interpreting

clanging sounds

to separate words

 .

suddenly come

alive in the arms

of your mind

 .

ready to be

grasped and placed

tiding up logic

 .

a string of letters

a hum of sounds

aligned with soul

could it be pain

a chime – to call your

attention inside

 .

to probe and identify

things lost in the mud

of daily duties

 .

to face them

to make them

clear and clean

 .

tiding up a messy

self hoping for

lesser luggage

was dreaming of

sunny awakenings

sweet cuddling and

words few – tight together

.

was getting out to say

good morning – gratitude

will not fail me

a smile in spite

if everything

.

I will hold

happiness

between

my hands
