words I use to describe
the tangible world

  1. Thank you for reading my post “a sparrow.” I have just read some of your posts here. I particularly like from this one- “words I use to describ the tangible world in its impermanence.” I like that word, impermanence.

      • Anna, I had another idea about your word impermanence. The only things that are real are things which never change. This desk at which I sit is real as I experience it in my senses. But some day, maybe 100 yrs from now, it will not exist, therefore it isn’t really real. But what is an unchanging physical thing? I think only the invisible, eternal is unchanging, and therefore, real. So when I think of this, I think of the impermanence of my desk.
