Exactly. This is why I prefer to walk to places rather than drive. People drive past me so fast, missing everything around them except for traffic lights (although, sometimes they ignore those too), I guess because they have some place to be right away. Me, I walk by the flowers and enjoy their magnificence. Nature is something to appreciate, not pave over. 😉

So true, and sometimes I myself am guilty of being oblivious to the beauty, so consumed by turmoil that eclipses it.
